Who are we ?
Sarah Aloïsi designer is French. She lives and works between East and West.
Born in Paris, her Vietnamese origins and her taste for Japan led her to a double training: the Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Arts Décoratifs in Paris, and Musashino art university in Tokyo. Since then, is divided between France, Japan, Nepal and Mongolia.
Animated by her taste for art, in search of beauty, curious about the cultures of the world, it is in Japan that she starts her career as a designer. For twenty years she has been designing, producing and selling her textile and clothing design, distributed to the demanding Japanese clientele, in Japanese department stores such as Takashimaya, Daimaru, Hankyu ... as well as in selective galleries in Tokyo, Nagoya and Kobe.
Back in France, Sarah Aloïsi collaborates with Hermès company. She makes the link between the Paris creative offices with the manufacturing workshops in Nepal and Mongolia. She stays there, supervises and transmits the spirit of excellence to the weaving workshops.
Nourished by her personal creative universe and rich of her experiences with the know-how of excellence, Sarah Aloïsi launches in 2015 her collection of capes designed in yak fiber from the highlands of the Himalayas, then available for all seasons.
Between France, Nepal and Japan Sarah Aloïsi now offers her clothing line, conceived in audacity and elegance.

An exceptional know-how for noble materials
The collection is made on the heights of the Himalayas. The workshop is out of time and the expert hand of the craftsman is at the heart of the work. It's about making textiles slowly to last decades : luxury requires time.

The ornaments, made of noble fibers such as yak, camel or silk, are manufactured according to remarkable ancient methods. Every step of handcrafting is carefully controlled, to offer the unique experience of an exceptional collection.
